Welcome to the Saudi Real Estate Institute (SREI) frequently asked questions. We would like to thank you for your interest in the courses held and services offered by the SREI.

General Question

SREI is a specialized institute in providing real estate market knowledge. SREI pursues to spread real estate market knowledge and qualify those who work in the real estate market. It aims at :

  1. – Increase knowledge and qualify those who work in the real estate market.
  2. – Pack the Saudi real estate market laws and regulations.
  3. – Develop and regulate the Saudi real estate market.
  4. – Maintain proficiency, high training and qualification.
  5. – Take part in the sustainability.
  6. – Create job opportunities for Saudi young people.
  7. – Establish a real estate platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge.
  8. – Organize relevant conferences and exhibitions.
  9. – Hold local and international partnerships with the competent entities in this field.
  10. – Grant proficiency certificates and approved licenses.

Individuals:

  1. – Any individual who desires to be qualified for working in the Saudi real estate market and to get acquainted with the relevant Saudi laws and regulations.

Companies :

  1. – Maintenance and operation companies.
  2. – Real estate offices.
  3. – Landlord associations.
  4. – Real estate brokers.
  5. – Real estate developers.
  6. – Contractors and residential builders.
  7. – Engineering offices.
  8. – Modern building technology.
  9. – Building inspection and examination (building quality).

SREI runs real estate specialized training courses to extend real estate knowledge and culture among those who work in the real estate market. SREI offers courses by a group of real estate market experts. As for the registration conditions, any individual who desires to join SREI courses can register. However, there are specific conditions for some courses.

Registration

  • – Go to the registration page by clicking on Sign Up at the top of the page.
  • – Sign up for your own account by filling in all the mandatory fields (fields ending with red asterisk) and then click Sign Up when you finish.


Click log in and fill in the user name and password fields.


Click on the user name at the top of the page and select Log out from the drop-down list to exit.

Enrollment in Courses

To join any of SREI courses, which will be held in SREI training halls or in one of SREI-certified training centers, the trainee should:

  • – Sign up in SREI website by clicking “Sign Up” at the top of the page (if not signed up before)
  • – Log in by clicking “Log In” at the top of the page
  • – Fill in the username / password, which the trainee used to sign up to the website
  • – Click (Join Our Course) button
  • – Click “Add To My Courses”
  • – Click “End Request”
  • – Fill in the payment statement
  • – Select the appropriate payment method
  • – Click “Confirm Order”
  • – Visit the payment page
  • – Complete the registration process

If the course is an awareness course (free from registration fees), the trainee should:

  • – Sign up in SREI website by clicking “Sign Up” at the top of the page (if not signed up before)
  • – Log in by clicking “Log In” at the top of the page
  • – Fill in the username / password, which the trainee used to sign up to the website
  • – Click the courses drop-down list
  • – Select the course he/she wishes to join
  • – Click (Join Our Course)


Yes, you can, unless there is a time conflict.


– Click the username at the top of the page, a short menu will be displayed. Select the courses you need to join and the website will start displaying the courses you are enrolled in;
– Or click “My Courses” button that will appear to you as a trainee after you log in, at the top of the page next to the trainee’s name.

  • – If the cancellation is seven days before the start of the course, no additional fees will be required.
  • – If the cancellation is less than seven to a couple of days before the start of the course, 50% of the course fees will be deducted.
  • – If the cancellation is less than 48 hours after the start of the course, the course fees will be deducted in full, unless there is a force majeure that prevents the trainee from proceeding with the course. In which case, the trainee will contact SREI to recover after proving the force majeure occurrence. The refund process will follow SREI decision in this concern.

Certificate requirements are summarized as follows:

  • – The trainee must have a secondary school certificate.
  • – The trainee must have been registered and must have paid the course and certificate fees.
  • – The trainee must have attended the course.
  • – The trainee must have passed the test.
  • – The trainee obtains the certificate.

Tests and Certificates

All tests will be scheduled and announced through the test page. Tests will be held either in SREI, SREI-certified locations or online.


If the trainee passed an approved certificate test in a field, he/she will be qualified to practice the relevant profession.


After you log in as the trainee, you can know the results by clicking the username at the top of the screen. A short menu displays, select general statistics.


SREI is pleased to communicate with the trainees through one of the following methods:

  • – Click “Contact Us” at the bottom of the page, fill in the required form, write your message, and click “Submit”.
  • – Send an e-mail to the following e-mail address (info@SREI.sa).
  • – Visit SREI.

Trainee Information

When the trainee signs in and clicks the user name, a menu consisting of the following will be displayed:

  • – My Profile (from this option, the user can review its registered information (name, membership date and certificates). The trainee may use this option to change its name or profile picture).
  • – Log Out (when the trainee clicks Log Out, it exits from the trainee’s account).
  • – General statistics (showing general statistics on the student’s performance in the form of graphs. Such statistics include training courses and grades, tests and grades, assignments and grades and the certificates obtained by the trainee.
  • – Courses (this option displays all courses in which the trainee was registered, the test results in a written form as well as the course statistics and results in a written form).
  • – Notifications (notifications sent to the trainee).
  • – Inbox (all the read and unread messages sent by instructors to the students).
  • – Settings (by using this option, the trainee can change the password and profile picture).
  • Receipts (review previous purchase orders for courses)


By clicking the user name at the top of the page, a short menu is displayed. Click the last option in the menu “Settings”, it displays two password fields; the first is to enter the current password and the second is to confirm the new password. Then, click “Save Changes”.

  • – Notifications (Notifications that the instructor sent a message or group of messages that should be read).
  • – Inbox (all the read and unread messages sent by instructors to the students).


After you log in as the trainee, you can click the user name at the top of the page. A short menu, in which “My Profile” is the first option displays. This option allows the trainee to view its registered information (name, date of membership and certificates).

Instructor Information


SREI would like to share experience with the applicant and to give the applicant information about the skills, qualifications instructions of filling in the instructor’s form

Having logged in with the user name and password, the instructor should follow these steps:

    • • Click the Course link at the top of the page.

 

    • • Click (Create Course) on the left side of the screen.

 

    • • Fill in the course details, including the following:

 

    • – Enter the course title.

 

    • • Select the course category.

 

    • – Select the course introduction image.

 

    • – Enter a brief description of the course.

 

    • – Click “Create Course” below the course fields.

 

    • – A set of options will be displayed as buttons to control the course outputs, including:

 

    • – Enter the duration of the course.

 

    • – Course requirements.

 

    • – Course type.

 

    • – The relevant curriculum and others.

 

    • – Course start date.

 

    • – Number of re-courses.

 

    • – Course instructions.

 

    • – Course completion message.

 

    • • Click the Save button.

 

    • • Specify the course components:

 

    • – Add a curriculum

 

    • – Add a chapter.

 

    • – Add a module.

 

    • – Add a test.

 

    • – Course fees, if not given for free.

 

    – Finally, post the course

  • – Go to the course created and posted by the instructor.
  • – Click the Site Manager link in the menu on the right side.
  • – Select the names of the students to whom the message will be sent.
  • – Select the message button at the bottom of the menu.
  • – Write the message title and text.
  • – Click Send the Message.

Yes, the instructor should follow these steps to add a trainee:

  • – Go to the course created and posted by the instructor.
  • – Click the Site Manager link in the menu on the right side.
  • – Press the Add Trainee button.
  • – Enter the trainee’s name in the trainee’s name field.
  • – Press the Add Students button


Yes, by following these steps:

  • – Go to the course created and posted by the instructor.
  • – Click the Site Manager link in the menu on the right side.
  • – Select the name of the trainee to whom the certificate is to be granted.
  • – Press the button of Add Certificate, which is set when the course is added.
  • – Select (Set a course certificate, Set a course badge, Delete a course certificate, Delete a course badge).
  • – Press the Set Function button at the bottom of the screen.
